Is Neck Pain Affecting the Quality of Your Life?

Neck Pain

The average head weighs about 20lbs and with many of us now spending hours looking down on our ipads, laptops and smart phones, our upper bodies are being well challenged, contributing to the new syndromes now presenting in the literature, such as Blackberry Thumb and Text Neck.

Most neck pain is not due to any specific disease but rather to issues with muscles, joints, discs and nerves in the neck or upper back; the challenge for the chiropractor is to correct these issues.

“I was suffering from severe headaches and neck pain… The treatment I received was instrument based; it is pain free and very gentle… Both the frequency and the intensity of the headaches have lessened significantly…. I have hugely improved mobility in my neck.”AC, 15-year old student, Midleton

The pain or discomfort you experience and the clinical tests you require will vary depending on your specific problem. To take your neck pain away, it is important that we first identify the source of your problem and the severity of it, so we can then best advise you on the most appropriate treatment.

Many clinic neck pain patients have responded very well to chiropractic treatment to include joint and muscle work, advice on work and leisure practices and ways to avoid neck strain and injury.
